What's Changing?
Starting May 1st, Retail Online, Business Online, and Mobiliti will use email verification (one-time password) instead of security questions for multi-factor authentication.
Why This Change?
Enhanced Security
Security questions rely on information that can often be discovered online, like your mother's maiden name, the street you grew up on, or your first pet. Email OTP provides a one-time, time-limited code that's unique to each login attempt, making it significantly more secure against identity theft and account takeover.
Added Convenience
Forget memorizing complex answers or worrying if you spelled your first car's name correctly. With email OTP, there's nothing to remember, just verify through your email inbox. It streamlines your login experience while keeping your account secure.
Flexibility for Mobiliti Users
Mobiliti users will have the choice between biometric authentication (fingerprint or face) or email OTP. Whichever works best for you!
What You Need to Do
1. Make sure your email address is up to date in your profile
2. On May 1st, when prompted for multi-factor authentication, check your email for the verification code
